Is There a Climate Solution?

Nuclear power plants take a long time to build, like, you know, a decade if you're lucky. They're very expensive. And it certainly makes sense not to shut down existing sources of zero omissions energy while we're trying to make this energy transition. Even the us, which hasn't felt the same degree of energy price disruption from the ucranian war, is giving nuclear power a second look. It's easy to understand why countries facing down a winter of brutal energy prices are revisiting nuclear energy.
