The Virtue of Profit
John Paul II says that profits could be potentially a sign of a healthy company. He also commends profit sharing or employee ownership, because it reflects the primacy of labor. But anything beyond like any surplus that the community has to generate enough money for everybody's needs is excessive and doesn't make sense.
