Katuzof's Plan for the Russian Revolutionary War
Katuzof was a cautious general who believed in avoiding battles until they could be fought on his terms. The coming phase of the war in germany would see the coalition forces struggling with all their might to avoid a battle. Katuzav entrusted the rear guard to one of his most capable subordinates, prince piotr bagration, and prepared to run. What followed was a series of desperate and somewhat confusing skirmishes and small scale battles as the troops of bagration's rear guard fought to buy time for their retreating comrades.
