The Importance of Academic Talent in High School
In the 11th grade, I figured out that I had some academic talent. The teacher comes up to me afterwards and says, congratulations, you get to represent our school at the state spelling B. And it's always been something y'all to try to show that I was set apart from the crowd. Maybe you can relate to that somewhat,. Even those of you that are not type A, that's in your life, there's you've been looking for something to distinguish you.
