The Higgsfield Is On, but What Is It?
We believe that about a trilliont of a second after the big bang, the higgs field switched on. Particles had no mass and flew around at the speed of light. But now we know it acquires a value of ten billion billion gigger electron volts. This is the energy at which we believe gravity becomes a contomechanical phenomena. It's the sort of upper limit of energy that we can really imagine.
