Does the Evolution of the Universe Have a Purpose?

Does the evolution of the universe have a purpose? Does it lead to ultimately a fully self aware universe? Or does it lead to something else that we can't even imagine? That's interesting to consider. What could god be? It's a great question to consider whether you're an atheist or religious. And if you're religious and you do believe in god, then you got to really wonder, what do you believe in? Is god a some sort of man sitting up in the clouds? Is god part of the universe, or is god separate from the universe?"
