How Deep Mind Systems Can Improve Efficiency in a Data Center
Games were the gateway for us to building and proving out these general purpose algorithms that could learn in our Fizzero's case, for any two player game. And so we thought once we were able to sort of crack games in that general way, we should be able to apply the algorithm to real world problems like data centers. So there's a huge vast number of products within Google where actually there's some deep mind technology powering some aspect of it. We can make them more efficient too. I even think it could be applied at a grid scale. And we'd love to try that at some point and save energy at a national scale.
