The Effects of Filtering on the Nephron
So what we're up to is that the afron arterials come in turned into a glomerulus, ball of yarn, a capillary bed to encapsulated by the nephron. All this stuff's filtered out. We've then on the other end have the effron arterial, it's another arterial. So now we turn into the venules and they start to move the way in the opposite direction. And so that then turns into now it goes venules. That's telling us that gas exchange has occurred. Now, there's another name for this, or the collecting duct, or the collection tubule or collecting duct. I don't like that name.
