The Importance of Understanding the Muslim World

Post 9-11, most people have gone into a depression about what is possible in terms of world peace. We need to recognise that the Muslim world is as our world is - internally and incredibly diverse. The cosmopolitan's universality plus difference really pays off. I think any moral view has a place for those we care more about than others.
