Gramsci understood 100 years ago that if you could subvert the church, you could create basically the greatest impediment while creating the greatest delivery mechanism for the ideology possible. The Southern Baptist Convention is pretending to back away from it. They're not standing up and saying, we've got you. We're not doing this. If you are going to allow people who want to subvert your organization to be major players in your organization, you are kissing your organization Goodbye.
