Is an Attendant Responsible for 30 Patients?

As an attending, i'm responsible for 30 patients. Who knows the ent the best on the team? The nurse, sometimes the medical student. So i would be an idiot if when a nurse comes to me and says, hay, i think you should consider doing this with a patient. If i don't listen to them, i don't necessarily have to do it right. Because here's the really important that you understand. Is an attending, once you hopefully get this, who actually knows the patient the best?
