I wonder if she would argue against the possibility of a mother having a hero's journey. She loved collaboration, so she was already thinking of art as a collaborative and co ctive form. And there's no reason you have to have the solitary creator, whether they're apparent or not, alone in the tower. What must remain within the writer's control, she concludes, is not the time or place, but the work for the duration of the time available.
