Do Power Lifts Have a Greater Fatigue Cost Than a Demonstration of Strength?

An olympic weight lifter does not suffer the same fatigue that a power lifter does after a competition or hard training session. The greatest amount of power is displayed at about 65, maybe 68 per cent of one r m. You can do an olympic lifting workout and do a whole bunch of snatches and cleaning jerks and not be particularly fatigued.
