What's the Adaptive Re Use Process?

Of the original four thousand 978 resonal schools, about 500 survive. Only half of those have been restored. Very few are still in use and for educational purposes. Most of them simply outgrew that use a long time ago. In order to preserve these schools, they had to have been adaptive re used. That's an important part of how we do historic preservation in America.
