The 6.5 Million Animal Deaths Since 2013
American agribusiness is dominated by huge factory farms which when these structures house animals are called barns. Fires break out in these huge facilities sometimes, not horrifyingly normally because of it were the norm,. But even so, that seemed like a lot to me. 6.5 million animal deaths since 2013. 650,000 animals incinerated a year. This has the flavor of a misleading stat and I could now report the exact nature of that flavor. It tastes like chicken.
