The Seven Statements From the Cross

Jesus says seven statements from the cross. They are so indicative of the saviour and his personality. But then one day, i realized the most profound thing about them was something he didn't say. In psalm 22, verse 7 and eight, says, all they that see me laugh me to scorn. And yet jesus said nothing to them in that moment where he could have convinced them that he was the son of god. He was not after the show. He was simply after pleasing the father.
