How Much Does One's Volume Affect Muscle Growth?

A seth markham from facebook asks, how much does one's volume a particular muscle effect, positively or negatively hypertrophy for other muscles? This is an area r there's not a ton of research, but i think we can piece maybe a tentative answer together. A study that was looking at acute hormonal changes with just upper body training versus a combination of upper and lower body training. And some of the results indicated that, likea, you know, maybe doing some lower body training puts you in a slightly more anabolic environment overall. But it's hard to say what exactly the mechanism for that could be. Could just be a handful of small studies that had had some spurious results
