Is Automation Just Lowering Wages Cross the Board?
increasing automation just lowers wages cross the board. Eventually, wages get so low that it doesn't make sense to invest fixed capital into automating something simply because there's too much variability in the work. And so yet, just having a bunch of cheaply paid people to do it is going to work out better. Something like that is going to continue as long as people are overworked and they're working all these hours,. So they have to rely on other bullshet jobs, to provide these services for emBecause their jobs allow them enough time to be able to do the shif.
