The Builders Confidence Index Breaks to All Time Lows
The builders do not build or do not issue new permits when monthly supplies over six and a half months. Rates have to come down enough for that monthly supply data to get below 6.5 months and for new home sales to grow again. The Federal Reserve is choosing this, they're still in you know we need to fight inflation kill inflation kill jobs stage of the housing cycle. But the bleeding has stopped for now.
