The Virtue of Hope and Charity
Father Philippe is so beautiful in his writings because he's presenting the faith in a new way. But this deep understanding that we draw as Dominicans from St. Thomas Aquinas is that those theological virtues of hope and charity are in the perfect of the will. And it's an act of will that is infused with grace and the divine life of God that perfects us in our, in our will. It begs the question, well, freedom for what? Well, it's free to pursue Christ to be with Christ.
