The Consequences of Starbucks Ice Coffee
Some people were concerned that because these ice cubes will be, I think, a little smaller, they may pack in the cup tighter. People were actually making and using ice long before refrigeration. They'd bring hunks of ice down from the mountains or cut it from ponds or lakes. Those ice houses were usually at least partly underground with straw or sawdust for insulation.
