Film Review - "Maryland"

"I'm not sure I admire what the film sets out to do," he says. "It's most interested in how disorienting fame is and being the object of so much fascination, lust, desire,. sexism, dismissal." The movie gets less cogent as it goes along with Julia Roberts' performance becoming more disassociated from her self. It seems to posit like fame ruined her eventually there was nothing left inside.
