Heterosexuality and Motherhood

As long as we live in a world where males seek to dominate and control women, our sexual behavior will have political meaning. Little girls are taught from birth by the heterosexual adults around them that heterosexual marriage and motherhood are inevitable. Compulsory heterosexuality is the reason many homosexuals and bisexuals do not figure out their sexuality until adulthood. Why do most women choose to be sexually and romantically involved with men despite all the male violence? Is it really because of romantic love? Or is it because these women don't want to face the social and economic consequences of ceasing the heterosexual lifestyle? How could any of us as feminists deny that compulsory heterosexuality influences heterosexual women to make the lifestyle choices
