Ted Christie: There have been airlines out of New York and other places that have tried to be all luxury. But the revenue from luxury passengers isn't quite that broad, he says. So I think for all those reasons, it makes a whole lot more sense for an airline to start up as a low-cost carrier, Ted adds.
