The Ethics of Biblical Interpretation

I think it has a theological underpinning that's just so beautiful and in that very same Jeremiah 31 chapter earlier in the verses, God says, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you. And ultimately what I'm beginning to think is that we should read the Bible to identify for us the kinds of issues that the people of God must face, but not how we address them.
