Raymond Lowey - The First Industrial Designer

Raymond Lowey started in 1929. He had his first major commission. His contemporaries were a guy named Norman Belgetes who actually never designed a major product that was used throughout the American consumer market. Then there was another designer named Henry Dreyfus who came out of Warren Belgetes' firm and he became more interested in ergonomics. Those three guys all came together in the 1920s.
