The German Response to the Ukraine Gas Pipeline Is Quite Interesting.
Nato is sending troops to its eastern flank to reinforce in case the conflict spills over. Germany's economy is export base and has a huge trading relationship with russia. It had this new gas pipe line running under the north sea, by passing ukraine, so there would be no need to pay transit fees to ucrane. But it would bring a lot of natural gas to germany. That was just about to go int into operation,. And germany has now suspended certification. The former defence minister in the government of anglomarcel also came out and said how angry she was at the way germany had, in a sence, been left flat
