How do you try to reduce the influence of emotion in decision making? I don't know if this is somewhat related to bias, but I think emotion is maybe slightly different. And part of the answer, I think, relates to things like checklists. If you're an inactivity that lends itself to a checklist that allow you to be methodical every time you make a decision, that tends to be a good thing.
