Do We Really Need Speed Limits?
I'm just concerned that essentially what we're doing from a real practical point of view is we're walking into the same trap we did for tobacco. You know, tobacco has been used for thousands and thousands of years. It only became deadly in the last hundred years or so. And once we allowed big tobacco to essentially say what they want, it kills 400,000 people a year still. I think we're going to end up regretting a lot of this. We don't need any and it's safe for if we don't have any. These are the same people that want to ban, you know, 20 ounce Coke and cigarettes.
