Do Referral Bonuses Really Work?
A lot of companies do provide incentives for people to bring in friends, but then you have an incentive. So bonus can be affected. I personally think that when someone recommends someone, if they like their job, and if they want to have friends with them, they're going to recommend the job. It's way stronger than to give somebody a tablet for bringing in just a CV. But I will say that referral bonuses work. They create an incentive for people to ask themselves, who do I want to bring to work so I can make the extra buck or the extra incentive, whatever that may be. For our business, it makes a lot of sense not to use bonus incentives. Other businesses
