I draw a lot of optimism from the similar things that happened many decades ago when nuclear weapons were developed. And we somehow found a balance. I have a threat of optimism for human civilization that we figure it out. We're clever teenagers, I think. But I think it's thin because something that has changed as well is the mentality of humans.
