Cholesterol and Triglyceride Levels

The fifth and final health metric that I recommend you track is a pair. It's cholesterol and triglyceride levels. A blood test called a lipid profile measures the levels of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and triglycerides in your blood. The numbers that you get are based on very large, very complex studies and very complex statistical calculations. For example, if you are a young, non-smoking woman with no history of heart disease,. a healthy LDL level for you could be very different than it is for an older overweight chain smoking man.
