I've Not Come to Do My Father's Will, but the Will of the Father'S Will

Paul Burkaff: What we're trying to get at here is something of the scriptural basis for considering a covenant before made before the foundations of the earth made an eternity past. He says Christ speaks of promises made to him before he came into the world and repeatedly refers to a commission which he received from the father. And so the father has sent Jesus into the world to do something that they've already agreed upon, according to Burkaff.
