i think of service mash as a way to interpose layer seven, so h t p processing on your network. We pull this policy up into the application layer, where we have more visibility to what's going on and can exert more control. And i think the cor insight of isto as that doing all that stuff at layer seven makes more sense than trying to impose network security and telimatry in the networkwhere it's harder to do.
