The Motivation to Work on Machine Learning for Robotics

In the first year of his PhD, I worked primarily on end-to-end deep learning for robotics. And that was actually a really exciting project. We were basically one of the first papers to show that you could train neural network end-To-end and it can learn complex manipulation tasks like screen a cap onto a bottle. It's now my second most cited paper.
