The Left Should Take Responsibility for the Culture Wars
The culture war is about proving the other side won't stop it they are the culture warriors we aren't. The left needs to take ownership of the fact that it does want to change the culture of Britain if you look at attitudes towards homosexuality from the 90s today there has been a cultural war. I think sometimes it's a labor makes a mistake of running away from the culture wars particularly if its own activists have a very fringe minority unpopular position. There just needs to be a kind of sense that you can articulate a big inclusive but progressive vision and you can kind of bring people along with you right.
