The Importance of Working Longevity in Fractures
Locking plate technology was originally designed for osteoporotic bone in the proximal humerus. With locking fixation, the entire plate would have to fail at once. Can we kind of touch on the difference between buttress and an anti-glide plate, like how the plate is used? Sure. I've heard differing, uh, differing opinions on how those two terms are used differently. And while, ryan, can we talk about working length and kind of its importance and dealing with fractures and since we're talking about plates and different screws? Yes.
