Is It a Good Thing?
Arsenal are getting the reality check before they even step into the group stages, which mentally is probably going to be really important. I don't think we should want the Champions League to be exactly like the men's Champions League and I want space for shocks like Chelsea going out in the group stages. Laura Veenroiter had such a good euros with Austria and didn't play as much in second half of last season but she was hugely impressive in Euro 2012. Noel Maritz has had that right back slot at Arsenal after Lauren Underscorer came back from her injury during World Cup.
