There's something weird in comics that is captured there. In the very earliest drawings of charley brown as sort of a drafted pancake disk, almost sort of a sumerian little idea gram. So there's something there that captures this re treading and retelling of stories that we have in our minds. And apparently, in scheltz's life, he actually did rewrite his own stories. It's totally understandable. That's what we do as people. We're writing as the stories of our lives.
On this episode Debbie talks to designer Chip Kidd and his good friend, graphic novelist Chris Ware.
