The Importance of Low Priced Electric Vehicles in China

China has a large domestic market, which is not easy to sell into. The big US and European companies all have pretty sizable operations in China. They've really specialized in low priced EVs. BYD is now selling an $11,000 electric vehicle. I don't think that's going to play well in the U.S., but it certainly plays well in Europe.
