The Murder of Martha Moxley

The body of Martha Moxley was found under a pine tree in Greenwich, Connecticut. Her hands were balled into fists and her underwear had been pulled down around her ankles. The first two people on the scene after Sheila Maguire raised the alarm were juvenile officers Hickman and Jones. One officer later said that they were surprised when they were told that Martha was blonde. He didn't want to use the police radio because it was monitored by journalists. When Officer Jones came back, he found Hickman petting a dog who was licking up the trail of blood left on the grass and all over the leaves at the murder scene.
