King tendarius was relieved. He knew that there would be no bloodshed over helen, at least for to night. The men grumbled and swore under their breath, but no one came close to breaking the oath. Menelaus was eager to prove himself as king, and helen was content with staying at her home in sparta. Many of the suitors became impressive princes and warriors.
