The sexual revolution over promised and under delivered, at least for women it did. The common narrative is that the sexual revolution was good for women. When Hefner died, he had seen the transformation of the porn industry partly as a result of his entrepreneurial behavior,. but more importantly, because of the internet. I think it's becoming increasingly possible to say even among liberals that the porn industry is not good. It's difficult to find really, really whole heart of defenders of the industry.
