Yamamoto: A Proponent of Naval Aviation

He was one of the few Japanese officers in pre-World War II area IJN that was a proponent of naval aviation. He rose through the ranks, eventually taking camp command of the Japanese aircraft carrier Akagi. And obviously, anybody who's watching this show knows what Akagi did. She was a flagship at Pearl Harbor in Midway, where she was finally sunk.
