Women's Movement in the National Assembly in Iceland
Christine: Here in iceland, one of the explanations is that it's easy to reach politicians. We are, you know, very few people here. I think thatis some something that has developed. And a ten year review post evolution said that having women in the national assembly had made a significant change to what was discussed in terms of policy adliance against women. You know, it's not enough to be a woman. You have to be a feminist. You need to want to change society. This is what it it's all about.
