Are Step Functions Really Being Pushed?

I know they're really pushing step functions for the orchestration. Of those workflows of like signing up a new customer, right? They're going through Lambda functions and other various services that you might encounter more so on the app. Yeah. One of the organizations I was working with 14, 18 months ago were using step functions to do ad hoc EMR processing. And that's a really good use of step functions where you kind of ad hocly do something like that as a one off ingest for a business user. But there's a need for something more traditional in terms of of orchestration across the platform outside of step functions.
