No one at the FBI inside the FBI believed that Levinson was still a communist threat they didn't believe that the intelligence showed that King or his organization were infiltrated by communists. William Sullivan who was the head of the director it was director of intelligence for the FBI repeatedly told Hoover in memos that there is no evidence to support the idea that Levinson is a threat inside the civil rights movement.
