Spiderman 2099: A Story of Self Versus the Herd

Miles is now in control of his Spidey powers. He learns that all the other Spiderman, women, dog pigs, whatever, have the same story that's a loved one has to die. Miles says, no, I'm going to be different. And so it's the kind of like traditional American story of self versus the herd. Even highly collectivist societies like India are becoming increasingly individualistic because they've been influenced by Western media and capitalism.
