DoD Policy on Robots Killing on Their Own?
In 2012 the US put out a document that stated the US did not have autonomous lethal weaponry. The document has been interpreted to say the US has a role that they don't do it. It sounds like the DoD has not given an official line about whether or not there's ever going to be autonomous killer robots. They're leaving the door open a little bit is what it sounds like.
