The Importance of Salt in Exercise

If you don't eat carbs in the first hour, you can actually try and eat a little bit of carbs after that. Sometimes it's a good idea to take just small amounts of carbohydrate in the second, third, and fourth hour. Sodium is important for a number of reasons. Some people sweat a lot of sodium; some people sweat very little. The only way to really find out is probably to measure it.
